“Foundation appeared geisha-like to the designer’s eye, so we applied thin layers of make-up: veils of pearl, pink and flesh to brighten complexions, while peach took away dark shadows. A neat black line gave depth to the eye and was contrasted by an oval of see-through white high on the cheekbone, like a fragile eggshell.”

1. Apply Strobe Cream to freshen, then dilute Face and Body Foundation with Face and Body Mixing Medium, adding a little Pink Colour Corrector. Lighten under eyes with Peach Colour Corrector.
2. Line the inside of the eye with Ebony pencil.
3. Add a small oval (fingerprinted) highlight just under the outer corner of the eye, near the very top of the cheekbone, in Patent White Eye Gloss.
4. Lightly powder with Invisible Powder, avoiding the glossy highlight.
5. At the last minute, nude the lips by lightly sponging over with foundation.
