
Creative journey: “We wanted to be able to reference more than just what the latest craze in beauty was, but also to show underlying themes. Looking at beauty rituals opened a lot of debate.”
Learning curve: “Compromise was definitely the key to this project. No studios or equipment were available. This was good as it forced us to experiment with what we had, yet proper lighting would definitely have improved the quality. We developed many key skills: communication, time-keeping and post-production.”
Magazine targeted: WE (WestEast Magazine): “This magazine studies a topic, looking at it in many different ways. It’s more than just a fashion magazine.”
