Inspired by the glow of a moonstone necklace, Dowsett applied Lancaster’s Neon Aura Luminizer as a base on the nose, chin, feltrim and even ears to illuminate the skin. Any slight skin imperfections were covered up with Select SPF 15 foundation in NW50 by M.A.C. (It‘s a mistake made by many that all black skins share the same undertones - those with red and orange undertones should try highlighting with Giorgio Armani’s fluid sheer no. 8, while yellow undertones should try Ruby & Millie’s face & body metal in Gold.) The intense black pearl effect on the eyes was created by mixing M.A.C's Vex eye shadow with a little injection of black shadow on the cover of the eyes (Carbon). “Mascara isn't necessary as it makes the look too pretty. Finish by applying Chanel Lipgloss in Crystal Blue to tie in with the theme”, suggests Dowsett.
