ABOUT I-SHADOW.NET
i-shadow.net is fast becoming a one-stop shop for make-up trend reporting and forecasting. Each season, i-shadow.net reports on directional catwalk make-up design, focusing on forward trends that emerge and highlighting key looks of the season.
With images from shows and quotes from top make-up artists, it’s the beauty insider’s make-up bible that educates and inspires. i-shadow.net provides a behind-the-scene glimpse, sharing information on products and methods.
It’s honest, unbiased and unique. It’s for anyone interested in the creative process of visually realising an idea, from tangible and tactile inspiration to some very beautiful and unexpected faces.
ABOUT THE TEAM
I-Shadow is a collective of creative people who are not afraid to share their ideas and inspiration. A band of artists who’s thinking is beyond make-up and fashion.
Sharon Dowsett has spent the last two decades working backstage at catwalk shows, collaborating with some of the world's most exciting photographers and advising the public on how to achieve key looks. She has also been a trend advisor and colour consultant to several international make-up brands.
Beauty editors Liz Hancock and Hazel Curry are regular contributors, along with invited writers for special features. We showcase work from a variety of make-up artists, students, photographers and illustrators.
Photographer and graphic artist, Toby Neilan has been documenting Sharon’s shows for many seasons. WGSN senior editor, Verity McIlveen, advises on final content and Tristan Spill is a multi-talented web designer.
The make-up team consists of Andrew Gallimore, Angela Deacon, Francesca Poggi and Hannah Dinmore. Together with Sharon, they interact with make-up artists around the world to make the most of make-up art.
