My last show of London Fashion Week was extremely enjoyable and the most intimate. Our models were characterful and we enhanced their beautiful tiredness with Maybelline NY’s FitMe concealors in a shade too deep and finished their transparent skin and lips with a dusting of FitMe Powder in a shade too pale. A smudge of Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe and a tickle of Eternal Silver was all that adorned eyes. The collection was fit for a space farmer secretary who works on a building site! Photos by me and Sophie Oliver, to whom I send special thanks.
The inspiration at Richard Nicoll was ‘sporty Blondie’ which translated into healthy, fresh skin and a see through steely smokey eye, sliced clean with a cotton bud – soft but sharp! We used Master Smokey Eye Pencil in Grey and Master Drama Kohl Pencil in Charcoal. Thanks to my amazing professional team, the watchful eyes of my agents at CLM and the support of Maybelline NY. And thanks again to Kristina Theodoris for her fine work and the photos.
Todd was inspired by a gang who steals clothes and makes them their own. We envisaged a character who was always running about and never had time to remove her mascara… She just layered it up. Maybelline NY’s The Rocket and Illegal Lengths Mascaras were our weapons of choice, and a brass nose ring added to the street allure. Skin was hydrated and fresh looking with BB cream for a youthful complexion. She’s tough, not rough! Thanks to my brilliant team who keep their cool and to Kristina Theodoris for these photos.
I had a very enjoyable day with my show team at my studio today. Thanks to my assistants Hannah Paul and Lucy Pearson, and team players Hannah Dinmore, Anna Priadka, Helena Lyons, Magdalena Winska, Joanna Banach, Jo Mackay, Therese Dombek and Nibras Al Wasiti.
